Stefan Woltmann and I found a beautiful dark Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk
yesterday at Haynes Bottom WMA in Montgomery County. The bird was perched
close to the entry road, then flushed to the back of the corn stubble field
on the left. It afforded very nice scope views with looks at a nearly all
black hawk, with characteristic white streaking on the breast and partial
white in the tail.

Attempts to relocate Stefan's Brewers Blackbird from the previous day were
not successful.
