I visited Kingston Steam Plant in Roane County, TN on May 25, 2005 and
birded the area from 9:35 till 10:50. Here are the birds that I saw or
heard (the list is not complete):

1. DCCormorant- 1
2. GBHEron- 2
3. CAGOose- 56
4. MALLard- 1
5. RTHAwk- 2
6. OSPREY- 1 (I know of three nests in the area)
7. BLVUlture- 2
8. TUVUlture- 3
9. KILLdeer- 8
10. SEPLover- 1
11. LESAndpiper- 3
12. SPSAndpiper- 1
13. WRSAndpiper- 1 (it was with the least sandpipers; there was an obvious
size difference, it had
longer wings, and fleckings down the flanks, and appeared to have some
rufous in some
      feathers)
14. WILLOW Flycatcher- 3 but possibly 4
15. Yellow-breasted Chat- 1
16. Yellow Warbler- 2
