I finally had a chance to go look for the Vermillion Flycatcher at Air Park Inn however my luck was no good as he was not out and about the two times that I went by there spending about 45 minutes each time waiting around and searching for him. However, he was probably up in a tree somewhere laughing at me, so he could still be around so don't everyone give up on him and let us all know if you see him again. Of interest I saw a WESTERN DARK MORPH RED-TAILED HAWK on the way to Tiptonville off of Great River Rd. heading North at Mile Marker 6. I thoughtit was going to be a Dark-morphed Rough-legged but it was just as lucky to be the Western Dark which I have never seen before. With great perched a flight looks at less than 20 yards away. I saw snow storm of about 1,000 SNOW GEESE slightly south of Reelfoot area, large flocks of LAPLAND LONGSPURS, HORNED LARKS, an AMERICAN TREE SPARROW, BALD EAGLES, N. HARRIERS, + many others. I searched the LeConte's field off of Cates Rd. with no luck either. See you in the field. _____________________________ Anthony D.
