The Say’s Phoebe was still present and easily located, in spite of steady rain
and moderate fog, at 1:30 p.m. today, Feb. 11. Observed first perched on
yellow& white post, then moving to stubble in a field on the south side of
Smythe Farm Rd., near it’s intersection with Hy Crop Row.
Thank you to those who posted about this bird, Andrea Cowart who originally
found it, and to Dick Preston, Rob Hardin, and Rueben Stoll, with updates; it’s
a Shelby County bird for me!
Good Birding to all.

p.s. It seemed fitting to be out today, the anniversary of Jeff’s passing.
