Had a hard time finding the spoonbill this morning. It had moved into Pool
11 with most of the great egrets and great blue herons. It could barely be
observed from Refuge Lane up the ditch with the three water control
structures. No good place to see it from a vehicle otherwise. The egrets
and herons are not very tolerant of people out of the vehicles so walking
down the levee doesn't work well either. Storming here now so viewing is
about impossible.
I have been unable to post to this listserve from my I-Phone as I receive
an error message stating I need to register. I can check and send all
other e-mails etc from my I-Phone. Has anyone else had this issue?
