That's true - you could just do null-modem. But it's more fun to
telnet. :)
There are other services online that respond to telnet, although it's a
diminishing number.

Easiest way is a telnet connection to a local machine (a local Linux box
with a serial console is ideal). A Lantronics UDS10 connected to an
RS-232 interface on your Commodore will then let you log into the Linux
