I know, but I did want to make sure that people not at the meeting knew
that this event was happening.

the Toronto PET Users Group mailing list.
Yeah, we know. But it hasn't exactly stopped people in the past. We get
TPUG meeting notices (even AGM notices), calls for speakers, WoC planning, …
Any further discussion of
TPUG business should be had at TPUG meetings (or virtually on the TPUG
Discord server) and NOT on this list.
Discord isn't quite as hideous as I'd thought, but it combines the
inconvenience of face-to-face talking with none of the cues and nuances
of a conversation. It doesn't really work for me¹.
But since most of the members don't come to TPUG meetings and there are
sometimes matters that fall between monthly meetings, maybe this list
will have to do.
