Thanks so much to Scott Baron, who tipped us off about the Chimney Swift
roosting site in Arlington. His description of the location was right on,
and my husband and I, and another couple who arrived on the scene, enjoyed
the show. Several neighbors passed by while we were waiting for the Swifts
to gather and they reported enjoying this spectacle for years. One
gentleman said he thought their numbers at this site had been declining in
recent years, but there certainly seemed to be around 1000 when we were
watching. Quite a show! Thanks!
