All,

Hoping for a nice migration push based on the weather, I did some birding
this morning in eastern Clarke. The trails behind the Snickers Gap
hawkwatch held two singing Kentucky warblers, one extremely accommodating,
and a singing Hooded. I also found a Blue-headed Vireo, my FOS Red-eyed
Vireos and FOS Scarlet Tanager.

After a disappointing lack of migrant activity, on the way back down the
mountain I stopped near the river and found a nice collection of birds,
including a displaying male Scarlet Tanager, FOS Veery, and 8 warbler
species (4 FOS):

Black-throated Blue
Black-throated Green
Worm-eating
Louisiana Waterthrush
Nashville (FOS)
Magnolia (FOS)
Chestnut-sided (FOS)
Black-and-White (FOS)

+ a likely Parula, only briefly seen.
