This morning I spent some time near the river in Clarke, and while the
morning started off slow, I ended up with a total of 56 species and some
nice sightings. Highlights would be a heard-only RED-HEADED WOODPECKER,
extended close-up view of a singing NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH (I had another
clearly singing a few minutes later in a somewhat nearby location which may
have been the same bird or may have been a second), excellent looks at a
CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER, and my FOS BLACKPOLL WARBLERS (2). I had 11 warbler
species in all. Complete list follows.
