On a walk in our neighborhood, just north of Woodlawn Plantation, we spotted
three black vultures on a house roof; one adult with two juveniles following
the adult around as it hopped about on the roof and then into some adjacent
trees, making croaking/hissing noises. Unfortunately I had no camera with
me!
(We also heard and then saw a very loud macaw? on a perch in a back yard on
the same street. I would not like to live next to it.)
