I heard and saw one CONI flying over the field where my daughter was
practicing soccer: Wolftrails Park, on Old Courthouse Road, Vienna, 8:00 pm.
At 9:15 I drove up to see the "pyramid" building on Boone and Gallows. The
building was not lit, however, and I did not see any birds. Maybe the lights
come on earlier at go off at 9:00. It might be worth another look.

Hey there, my dad and I heard a Common Nighthawk calling over Old Town
Portsmouth this evening between 8:20 and 8:30 pm near the Court Street
Baptist Church, which has been a reliable spot for hearing these birds
during the Spring/Summer of 2008 and 2009. Hope they stick around again
this year!
