While birding in Campbell County this morning, I saw a DICKCISSEL sitting
on a fence post. The location is about a mile further south on Red House
Road (State Route 615) than near the little pond where we found them last
year. It was at the intersection of Nowlin's Mill Rd. (State Route 648)
The bird was sitting on the fencepost on the right side of Nowlin's Mill
Rd. just at the intersection of 615. I was able to observe it and took a
couple of pictures before it flew across Nowlin's Mill Rd to the left. I
have been searching for bobolinks in the area but no luck with them.
