Sorry for the late post..We took a trip through the area, not much of note aside from Ramp Road. The pond there was busy, busy.. 80-100 Snowy and Great Egrets, I counted 4 tricolored Herons, many juvi White ibis and 4 Glossy Ibis. The Pines at the back of the pond were full of Egrets and Ibis all jostling around for a good branch. The Glossy Ibis were along the back of the pond foraging in the weeds. A little too far for my lens but I took some pics anyhow. We rode around all the usual places and really didn't see anything noteworthy. Nothing but Rock Doves, Laughing Gulls and a pair of Terns on the bridge. One lone Butterfly in the Butterfly Garden at Kiptopeke. Stopped at Stingrays of course..So the trip wasn't a total waste:)
If only my husband would agree to a longer lens.. a 600mm would be nice:) I could have gotten some great shots today. lol
Here's the pics...
