Hi,
I visited Elklick Woodlands Natural Area Preserve in Centreville (Fairfax Co.)
on Sunday morning. The temp was mild - upper 50s to low 60s.
A total of 4 Com. Ravens were in the area during my 2 1/2 hr. walk. I don't
believe that I've had that many in western Fairfax in one place.
Waxwings and especially Robins were abundant. I watched the Waxwings
flycatching. There weren't as many sparrows as I had hoped for. Most were
Song or Junco. Also Chipping (1), Field and Swamp.
