Lots of good FOY birds this morning including 3 Sandpiper species - Spotted,
Solitary & Lesser Yellowlegs. Also Indigo Bunting, Blue Grosbeak, Orchard
Oriole, Yellow-breasted Chat, Redstart, Red-eyed Vireo & White-eyed Vireo.
The most interesting sight was a fight that pitted a Starling and a Bluebird
against a Black Snake. The snake was climbing a tree with several nesting
cavities. After numerous attacks by the Starling and the Bluebird, they
were able to knock the snake from the tree. Very entertaining.
