We ran the Big Meadows BBS route (Shenandoah NP) on Sunday June 10, 2012.
This route starts at Mary's Rock overlook and ends along the Rapidan Camp
road.
This year we added Hairy Woodpecker to this list. Other birds seen/heard
along the count are at the end of the list.
American Restarts were the top species this year followed by Eastern Towhee.
Also seen/heard between stops were another Barred Owl and Northern Flicker.
