We ran the Front Royal BBS route (Shenandoah NP) Saturday, June 9, 2012.
This route starts at the entrance sign at the north end of the park and runs
to slightly south of Elk Wallow Wayside.
We added White-eyed Vireo to the list this year which was a nice finding.
Was nice finding a Ruffed Grouse again too. Red-eyed Vireos were the most
common bird found, second was Indigo Buntings. The seven Cerulean Warblers
are always a good find .
Other birds seen/heard along the route that are not included are at the
bottom.
