Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 6.75 hours
Official Counter: Bill James
Observers: Baron Gibson, Carl Christensen, Dave Brunstetter
Visitors:
A 4 or 5 year old who told me that the Peregrine was the fastest animal on
Earth. His mother said he read a lot.
Weather:
Windy and cold with the wind abating and the cold perseverating. Clear
with clouds increasing, then diminishing throughout the day.
Raptor Observations:
It seemed just right for Red Tail movement, but they still don't understand
the lore: NW wind, Red Tail friend, but only November, if they remember.
OK, I added the latter (still suffering from exposure).
Very few Vultures anywhere today - a hint that something was a-foot, er
a-wing.
Adult BE at 10:33.
Non-raptor Observations:
No Bobcats today. About 100 DC Cormorants heading to the sea. Lots of
raven activity.
Predictions:
More Vultures?
