Observation start time: 06:15:00
Observation end   time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 9.75 hours

Official Counter:        Calvin Brennan

Observers:

Weather:
Conditions were clear and sunny today with a bit of cumulus during the
morning which dissipated when the breeze picked up in the afternoon. Winds
were light north-northwest in the morning becoming moderate northwest in
the afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
The movement today was perhaps not as spectacular as anticipated given the
rain the past several days. Much of the flight was high and in blue in the
afternoon. A couple of species had their largest movements of the fall.
Bald Eagles seemed to be in view at any given time with often four or five
kettling together. Red-shoulders were also seen in their highest numbers,
if a modest number overall. A single group of 32 Broad-wings was another
highlight.

Non-raptor Observations:
Among a fairly good passerine movement today were multiple Purple Finches
and a Pine Siskin. Over 50 Common Loons were noted including a single group
of 30+. Hundreds of Double-crested Cormorants were migrating today and a
single Great was also seen.
