I have seen a huge Cooper's hawk flying over I64 in Hampton, VA once a week for
the last month or so, around the 1/2 mile exit sign to Hampton Roads Center
Parkway turnoff, right where Sandy Bottom is.
It is actually just about as big as the Red Tailed hawks we have in this area
(that also fly over I 64) in terms of body length and wingspan. It is very
Heavily barred.
Of course this is usually an observation made at 55+ MPH so I have no photos.
