9 Birders came together for this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning
Birdwalk. We tallied 37 species, a total that is down because of the continued
denied access to the boardwalk, and possibly the effects of the hurricane
through the area this weekend. Not many highlights to report - our reliable
Osprey caught two fish this morning, a pair of Belted Kingfishers hunting among
the Leopard frogs singing in the wetland, and a couple of immature Little Blue
Herons that have been reported for the last week or so.
