There were 25 birders on this morning's Huntley Meadows Monday Morning
Birdwalk, and we spotted 47 species. We had the most fun watching what
probably was a first year Bald Eagle, a couple of Black and White Warblers, and
a very nervous Green Heron in the company of a really big Northern Water Snake.
Every time the snake moved the Heron leaped out of the way even when it wasn't
in the way to begin with.
