A very large crowd of over 30 birders took part in this morning's Huntley
Meadows Monday Morning Birdwalk. We were able to tally 48 species on a
beautiful late fall morning. Many variety of ducks highlighted the walk. We
were able to get 6 out of the 7 woodpecker species found in our region; a large
count of white-throated Sparrows; finches and Pine Siskins were plentiful; and
some nice views of several Hawk species rounded out the morning.
