A large group of over 25 birders assembled this morning for the weekly Huntley
Meadows Monday Morning Birdwalk. It was a very interesting walk with the
emphasis being on migrating shorebirds again. Ten species of shorebirds were
tallied with a Short-billed Dowitcher and an American Golden-Plover perhaps
being the most interesting. These are not unheard of at Huntley Meadows, but
somewhat unusual.
