A notice for those planning to come on next Monday's Huntley Meadows Monday
Morning Birdwalk: Because of the surface board replacement project, much of
the boardwalk has been closed. Therefore, the Monday Morning Birdwalk will
take a modified route. This Monday, August 8, The Monday Morning walk will
convene at the Park's entrance on South Kings Highway at the usual time of 7
o'clock. Called the 'Hike/Bike' trail, this is a 2.5 mile, out and back paved
surface path which leads past some meadow areas, and through some forest
fragments, leads to a platform overlooking the western edge of the central
wetland.
