First migrants for me this season, seen from the Hike/Bike Trail:

B&W
Canada
[plus numerous yellowthroats]
Distant looks at a few shorebirds (killdeer, spotted, and probably least).
Also an empid that probably wasn't an Acadian (based on location), but I
didn't get a good look. Not that that would necessarily have helped . . . .
Coolest thing was a small gray treefrog on a leaf at waist level. Really
cute.
Looks like we are going to have another epic season of buckeye
(butterflies): their caterpillars are everywhere in the meadows.
