Weather:
Westerly to northwesterly winds were strong in the morning, and lighter in
the late afternoon. Skies were clear for most of the day, with some clouds
later on. Temperatures were in the fifties to sixties.
Raptor Observations:
Quite a few birds were north-bound this morning, mostly sharpies. However,
we still had a decent southbound movement. There were some very nice views
of harriers today.
Non-raptor Observations:
Observations included:
at least 18 Pine Siskins
6 Common Loons
4 House Finches
3 Eastern Bluebirds
3 White-crowned Sparrows
2 Chimney Swifts
2 Dark-eyed Juncos
1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
34 Monarchs
