Weather:
In John's words: "Conditions were splendid today, with superb visibility,
beautiful cloud cover, fairly strong W winds all day." 17-15C temps. Partly
cloudy early becoming mostly cloudy after noon.
Raptor Observations:
A pair of adult Bald Eagles at 2:04pm. A Merlin at 1:10pm.
Non-raptor Observations:
Among other sightings, our nicest was a tight group of 13 Gadwall that
appeared distantly over Waynesboro and flew directly over us eastward. In
addition, we had 12 Purple Finch, 1 Golden-crowned Kinglet, 30 Waxwing, and
1 Chipping Sparrow.
