Howdy all,

Today was again windy but not as bad as it has been, so  we were able to get
a few nets open today. We did very well considering the  conditions and the
lack of nets. But there were birds everywhere today, so it  was a bit
frustrating, because it could have been a big day. Oh well.

Lots of migrant BLACKBIRDS (including RUSTY'S) and AMERICAN ROBINS  moving
overhead this morning. PINE SISKINS were around. And YELLOW-RUMPED  WARBLERS
were in big numbers. SPARROWS and HERMIT THRUSHES were present but not  in very
big numbers. Hopefully the sparrows show up soon.

Here are the  totals 10/30:

Black-throated Blue Warbler    1
Yellow-rumped Warblers        145
Ruby-crowned  Kinglet              3
Swamp  Sparrow                       2
White-throated  Sparrow             3
Hermit  Thrush                           3
Sharp-shinned  Hawk                1
TOTAL--------------------------------  158
