Howdy all,
The last few days have not been the best days of the season, even though we are
in the middle of the "normally" busy season here. A big part of the slow down
might just be the windy conditions that have been around for long enough now.
On the 23rd we banded 43, then 46 on?the 24th, and today, we just didn't band
because of the forecast of rain and high winds. Maybe we could have pulled a
few hours banding, but hey, we all need a day off sometime! ha ha And with the
strong south winds, I doubt we missed much, since there was not much here to
begin with!
Anyway here are the totals for the 23 and 24. Hopefully we can work tomorrow
and there are new birds that push in!

10/25:
Didn't band.
Very few YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS around the banding station the last few days. I
am hoping there is still a large wave of them coming. Maybe they are just a bit
later than normal again this year (like last year).
