Hello everyone!
First, sorry for the late report.
Good to get back out!  Had an opportunity to say hello to a friend while
checking out the marsh at entrance to James River NWR.  Also met several new
friends, including a couple from Mechanicsville and Rob Sabatini at Dutch Gap.

Saw the following birds at the marsh: Red-Headed Woodpecker, American
Goldfinch, Pileated Woodpecker (heard only), unidentified Sparrow, Red-Winged
Blackbird, Turkey Vulture.  Heard several shotgun blast so hunters were working
some areas in James River NWR.
I saw the following while at the marsh of Dutch Gap Conservation Area.
White-Throated Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Red-Winged Blackbird, Ring-Necked
Duck, Gadwall, American Widgeon, Northern Shoveler  Mallard, American Coot,
Canada Goose.

I will send another email when I am finished editing photo.
Best birding and have a great week!Les Brookswww.natures-finest-photography.com
