Because of the prediction of a severe winter storm tonight, I think it is best
to cancel the Huntley Meadows Monday Morning Birdwalk tomorrow. The prediction
of treacherous driving conditions applies equally to the trails and boardwalk
at the Park. So, it's best to stay home. However, if we wake tomorrow to a
beautiful, sunny morning, the walk is on! I am infamous for my tedious rants
about the terror that strikes the hearts of Northern Virginians at the prospect
of a little snow, but this one may be a doozy. Have patience, gentle readers,
the warblers will be here soon.
