Hello Va Birders!
I would like to introduce www.happybirding.org !
In January I started working on a site that would provide birders a place to
talk about a broad range of ornithology and nature related topics. The idea was
to create a site for all experience levels, beginners to professionals. Forums
were built to discuss bird lists, ID help, rare bird sightings, parks, event
calendars, gear, bird behavior, and more.
The site has now come to the point where I believe it is ready and
www.happybirding.org is now live. I tried my best to design a site that is
simple and fun to use. Registration is free and posting messages is as easy as
creating an email. I am providing the site as a free service to all and will
pay out of pocket for as long as I can. My goal is for www.happybirding.org to
be a worthy contribution to the birding community.
Since I have never created a website before the past few months have been very
challenging. I am somewhat nervous after the time spent learning, coding, and
in trial and error, along with the excitement of anticipating the reaction to
the site.
If you sign up and there is a problem please bear with me. I am new to this and
will do the best that I can to correct any issues as fast as I can. If you
