Hello everyone,
I too saw the Waynesboro Purple Gallinule this morning. I arrived around 9:00
a.m., and was very happy to find the bird right away. I did learn that the sun
is not high enough in the sky at 9:00 to shine much light on the dark little
cove that the bird seems to prefer, so photos were tough at first. But I did
get a few nice ones later in the morning and have posted several on my Flickr
site:

I also had the pleasure of meeting Allen Larner there today. Thanks again to
Allen for sharing directions to the bird's haunts, and for keeping us updated.
