Hello Birders,
This morning Richmond Audubon led a walk at Dutch Gap in Chester. It was a
comfortable and sunny day but the wind kept many of the songbirds in
hiding. The highlight of the trip was a very cooperative and very late
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER. It was feeding with a mixed flock not far from
the main building on the Dutch Gap trail. On our way out we re-found the
bird in the same spot.
Other highlights included good looks at a variety of waterfowl, a Barred
Owl sleeping low in the trees and the continuing Osprey.
