Weather:
Another nice day but a bit breezy with mostly west winds switching to SW by
mid afternoon. Temp. 22.1>29.2C.
Raptor Observations:
Impressive flight of osprey for so early in the season.
Non-raptor Observations:
Ruby-throated Hummingbird-6; Cedar Waxwing-13; Double-crested Cormorant-1;
A black bear at TP on north side of gap spotted by visitor Jennifer Jowdy
appeared to have an injured paw. The Wildlife Center had received a report
of a bear struck by a vehicle near exit 99 at top of Afton. The State
Wildlife office was notified.
