Hello all
This afternoon I took my brother & his wife out in a couple of the fields on
Bells Lane so that he could catch & tag Monarch Butterflies . Well while
kicking in the fields we jumped several Savannah Sparrows along with about a
dozen or so of Palm Warblers & Goldfinch & one half grown Skunk . But for me
the prize was a lone Sedge Wren who was working the fence rows . As for the
Butterflies we tagged about 20 & found a couple of small roosts in the trees .
The Wren was working the west side of the road & just to the south from the top
of the hill where we look for Short - eared Owls in the winter .
