Celebrate Birds, Go Birding! International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD) ―
Saturday, May 5 through Sunday, May 13. During spring, thousands of migratory
birds move through North America to their nesting territories. Some will stay
and nest, while others will spend only a few days here replenishing their
energy before continuing a journey that may be thousands of miles long. To
celebrate and highlight this natural phenomenon and the importance of natural
habitats, join us on one of the several walks the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy
has scheduled between May 5 and May 13:
5/5 Horsepen Preserve, 8:00 a.m.– Andy Rabin & Linda Sieh
