I spent this morning at the banding station at Shenandoah State Park. Just as
we were setting up the nets we saw two Black-billed Cuckoos in a tree. We
banded several Orchard Orioles and a Cedar Waxwing with a half orange tip to
its tail. There were two Red-headed Woodpeckers at the RV Campground. Later I
saw a Nashville and cape May Warbler near the horse staging area and saw a
Yellow-billed Cuckoo on the connector trail from the Rustic Campground to the
Cottonwood Trail. The ebird checklist is here with photos of some of the birds
we banded http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S10598270.
