Paul Glass and I took a 3 1/2 hour morning look around SRSP Sunday and had 47
species. Nothing really unusual, but more than we were expecting...
Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Prothonotary, Yellow-throated and Pine Warblers, L.
Waterthrush (a bit of a surprise) and other of the usual suspects. I got some
photos- the best being up close and personal with a Pine Warbler and its
caterpillar, but also some others.

On a side note... has anyone else noticed a particularly high amount of
chiggers this year? I have had quite a few of the obnoxious bites and they seem
to be everywhere... in well cut grassy areas, not just in taller grasses. Just
wondering, feel free to shoot me a personal email or if you think it might be
pertinent to all, post to the group.
Cheers for now,
