On Oct 11, Coastal Virginia Wildlife Observatory participated in the Big
Sit for the 11th straight year. Hawkwatcher Calvin Brennan, Harry Armistead,
Bob and Judy Lynn and I were there and we had our second best count ever
at 81 species.
Highlights were a flyover Dickcissel and a White-crowned Sparrow at the
feeder.
The results for the entire event will soon be posted on the Bird Watcher's
Digest website and we'll find out where we placed!
