Hi Scott,
I was at Leesylvania State Park this morning too. Maybe I saw you there among
the loose flock of birders around the hill near the house ruins above the last
parking lot. I was there from 8:10 AM to around 9:30 or so.
I had fairly good luck (for me at least). I saw a Black-Throated Blue and a
Hooded Warbler, near the top of that hill. I missed the Worm-Eating, but one
of the other birders said he saw one there today.
Come to think of it, I counted 40 species this morning (36 at LSP, added 4 more
at nearby Julie Metz Wetlands), but I'm not sure any of them were migrants -
consistent with your observation. I.e. I think they were all fairly common
summer residents.
I was struck by seeing an osprey fly through the trees above the hill at LSP,
and land in one. I'm not used to seeing them behave like this away from the
water. Maybe they're nesting there?

A beautiful morning for birding; unfortunately Leesylvania continues to be
migrant poor compared to past years. Highlights were Blue Grosbeak (female),
Yellow-throated vireo, and Scarlet Tanager (2). Warblers were few and far
between, even Yellow-rumps (7). Did see and hear a Yellow Warbler though near
the picnic shelter. The only other warblers were Yellow-throated (2) and
Prothonotary (5). Hope wherever you were this morning was birdier. Scott
