Almost everyone who has replied to this thread has missed the fact that the
original poster specifically stated that he receives va-bird in DIGEST mode
and has trouble scrolling through all the execess lines on his tablet. None
of the suggestions for deleting or filtering are relevant to his situation.
Personally, I think that anyone who wants to see the Ebird reports should
join Ebird. In fact, anyone who cares enough about birds and birding to be
on this listserve should join Ebird.

You can block emails (or rather automatically delete them or move them to
any folder) with specific subject lines. Every email provider/client I've
used has this option, usually called a "filter" or a "rule".
