Yes, but the other contributors have complained about having to delete Kurt's
emails, and having to deal with long messages in general.
As for the original poster, I mentioned yesterday that there are disadvantages
to reading VA-bird in the digest format, the major one being the
obvious--you're looking at a concatenation of all the posts for the digest
period. This necessitates a lot of scrolling. But users shouldn't be restricted
to writing fewer or shorter emails, regardless of the content, just for the
sake of making the digests easier to read. If you don't like the digest, switch
to the regular emails and take advantage of the control you'll have.
I do agree that more list users should be on eBird, though.

Almost everyone who has replied to this thread has missed the fact that the
original poster specifically stated that he receives va-bird in DIGEST mode
and has trouble scrolling through all the execess lines on his tablet. None
of the suggestions for deleting or filtering are relevant to his situation.
Personally, I think that anyone who wants to see the Ebird reports should
join Ebird. In fact, anyone who cares enough about birds and birding to be
on this listserve should join Ebird.

Rare Bird Alert <daily>
You can block emails (or rather automatically delete them or move them to
any folder) with specific subject lines. Every email provider/client I've
used has this option, usually called a "filter" or a "rule".
