Karen - absolutely use ebird.org to keep track of your sightings. It is free,
nd people nationwide can benefit from the info you input. If every experienced
irder (and the careful lesser-experienced ones) would put their sightings in
Bird it would be an even more valuable resource for all of us! I like it most
s a tool for finding where birds I want to see have been seen lately.
eBird.org is very simple to use and quite a bit of fun - it keeps track of
lists
f birds you've seen by county, state and country. It's kind of addicting...
