VA Birders:
We had a lovely morning in Meadowood Recreation Area, the portion east of
Belmont Blvd. The shrubs near Hidden Pond offer superb views of several
different sparrow species. The Vesper, however, was on the Mustang Loop,
~100 yards from its intersection with Thompson Creek Loop. The adjacent
field held at least 10 Meadowlarks!
