Long-tailed Duck - 7

That may not sound like a large flock of ducks, but this species is rare
in Southwest Virginia. Normally only single birds, and usually only  immature
or females are seen. This a small flock, which was a first  for me. The
males were yodeling also- upup OW OweLEP  -  which was the  icing on the cake!
1 Red-necked grebe was also in the area.
