Birders,
My husband and I conduct a bird survey on a golf course in Va Beach. Today,
we noticed two Great Blue Heron nests with what appeared to be adults
sitting near the edge of the nest on one and on the other the bird sitting
more centered on the nest. We had not noticed these nests 2 weeks ago (not
to say they weren't there). We also talked with on of the employees who
reported seeing a GBH taking twigs to one of the nests we observed today-
two weeks ago. I can't find any info. on nesting times for the birds in our
area. Can anyone out there help?
