Stopped by Barrett House in Laurel Hill Pk. on my way home from Leesylvania.
Lots of birds right around the house, mostly Chipping Sparrows. Found a
Yellow-rumped Warbler (maybe 2) in the oak tree at the NW corner of the house
(inside the fence). The one I observed, chased after another bird of about the
same size and shape. Other highlights were Palm Warbler and Blue Grosbeaks.
There were many more birds that I could not positively ID, most of which were
probably Chipping Sparrows (about same size and behavior as those I was able to
ID).
